How it works
Every Jedi within the Order needs to operate under a point assignment system. This dictates how skilled a Jedi is with an ability. There are three tiers, Novice, Adept and Master.
An example of the system; a Jedi who is Novice with Force Push, can Force Push light objects with exertion. Someone who is Masterful, could break down doors with the Force. The different levels of all of the abilities is left to the user to determine. Wookieepedia is law on this matter, refer to it as best as you can. If you cannot and you are still unsure, contact a Council member.
Powers are limited to your rank. Padawans can only learn up to Novice. Knights can only learn up to Adept. Masters can learn up to Master.

Jedi Padawan Tree
Padawans freely gain: Force Sense (Novice) & Tutaminis (Novice).
It is also a suggestion that Padawans do not spend all of their points right away. Allow the system to enhance your role-play by spending points when someone actually teaches you these abilities (find Knights that actually know abilities you're interested in).

Exceptions
If you wish to have an exception to the list, you need to contact the Council directly. They will conduct a vote to allow you. You require a legitimate and good reason to excuse the system in your specific case. These can also apply to race based exceptions (Miraluka's have Force Sight).
The most often case, will be if a Knight or Master who specializes in a specific power wishes to teach that power directly to their student (such as Malacia), they can contact the Council for an exception to be made, allowing the Padawan to learn the ability at a Novice level. These exceptions would be FREE, meaning they do not cost points.

Why is the System designed this way?
- The purpose of the system is to create a balanced environment within the Jedi Order that restricts our members to using realistic powers, at realistic points in their careers, at realistic levels.
- Certain powers have been broken up (like Force Sense) in order to carry more weight to how someone distributes their points. Meaning, we wanted people who specialize in Force Sense, to not have many other abilities to balance their character out.
- Each of the powers is explained by the Wookieepedia link, we cannot provide clearer descriptions (this page will become a text wall).
- The system has been designed in way to walk a fine line between complexity and simplicity. Many people argue that it should be more complex or more simple. It's difficult to find the right spot that pleases everyone.
- If you have any question or suggestions (for new powers or anything else), do not hesitate to send them to StanleyYeo Resident or any other member of the Council.
- Just because we might say "no" to a suggestion or concern doesn't mean we haven't listened. This system is a very complicated beast, you may have a good suggestion, but that suggestion may simply not work with this system.
