OOC Code of Conduct
- Don't question another member's rank publicly. If you see someone with a rank tag, accept it. Don't question their legitimacy. Each rank has been given out after review. If you absolutely have a problem then contact one of the current Council members or a GM/Admin.
- Don't publicly question someone's use of canon. If you have an issue then IM the person, ask them to kindly explain their logic or quote you a wiki-page. If need be contact one of the current Council members or a GM/Admin regarding the issue.
- Don't use group chat to OOCly argue with other members. Set up a private IM group or get together in-world and continue your arguments there.
- Notices are for classes and events only. Anything else should be submitted through a Council member.
- Keep OOC in local to a minimum, especially during combat and roleplay.
- Nobody has anymore right to be here than anyone else. If a member is causing a problem then contact one of the current Council members or a GM/Admin. Character age, rank, and status will not save someone from ejection.
- It is your right to derender/mute members you cannot get along with. But please understand it might make some events difficult if you cannot communicate with certain members. We ask you use this as a last resort.
- Do not take IC matters which are to your personal distaste into OOC and harass the player for that reason. OOC and IC should stay strictly separated. IF somebody is harassing you about your character's decision, contact a GM or Admin if the issue persists.
Appearance guidelines
These appearance guidelines exists to maintain a professional working environment. Whilst the Jedi ways suggest we look past clothing, we also take great care to present a good image of the Order. Remember that your attire, represents part of the Jedi Order's image.
- Your attire should look relatively like a Jedi. Robes of some kind are strongly encouraged. Unless engaging in an undercover activity. In these circumstances, your clothing must still maintain the below rules, but, it can look different to that of Jedi attire.
- No BDSM accessories(collars, gags, etc).
- Use realistic proportions(or have a good IC reason why not).
- Keep breasts covered. Top, bottom, and sides. Some cleavage is okay.
- No exaggerated nipple tops. Meaning, a visible nipple through a shirt.
- No super low riding pants.
- Butt should be covered completely both the top and bottom part.
- Shorts should be mid thigh.
- No exaggerated camel toe or bulge.
- Use realistic footwear. Flat heeled boots for combat. High-heeled boots are OK for outside of combat interaction. Try running around outside in your high-heels.
- Skirts, dresses, and robes should be mid thigh or longer.
- If it has the words Kajira, Slave, or Gorean in it then it's probably not acceptable.
- Males should try to wear at-least some form of vest or upper body garment. Exceptions are usually made for special races (Shistavenen, Hutts, etc.).
- The Council’s discretion can be used to determine if an outfit is suitable or not, at any time.
Inactivity, Resignations & Expulsions
Regular checks will be conducted for inactive players.
Inactivity
- If you remain inactive for longer than: Initiates (2 months), Padawans (3 months), Knights (4 months) Masters (6 months), you may be removed from the group.
- If you are removed from the group due to inactivity, you must apply to re-join with your rank intact. There is a possibility due to prolong inactivity, you may be asked to repeat your training (Initiates & Padawans) or sit through a re-introductory class (Knights & Masters).
- Inactivity is NOT the same as a Leave of Absence. If you need to go away for a long period of time, inform a Council Member or update the Database to say you'll be on a Leave of Absence.
- When the Group is cleared out periodically, ensure you are on the Database. That is what we use to keep a current and up to date list of players. Database is here. Form to be placed on it is here.
REsigning
- If you resign from the Order, you should consider this decision to be permanent.
- Rare exceptions will be made where you will be allowed to return.
- Depending on the exception made, you may be required to repeat your training (any level). This is to further solidfy that resigning is a massive decision. It should not be taken lightly.
Expulsions
- If you are expelled from the Jedi Order, you will not be allowed to return.
- Expulsion are not taken lightly and they happen in extremely rare cases. You will be given plenty of chances before this option is used by the Council.
- The Council may ask you to resign, instead of expelling you. This may offer you the chance to return to the Jedi Order at a later date.
Being Captured
Capture is something that happens plenty. The Sith are out to get the Jedi at every point in time. Whilst there are no strict rules on being captured, there is a list of advice we would recommend you follow to keep things civil:
Remember, these aren't rules, just suggestions. We don't want to try and restrict the role-play that you're entitled to do. We're just asking that you keep in mind, capture role-play can effect the entire group. Whether it's the rescue mission, or simply having to justify why we cannot come and save you, it involves the whole group. Be mindful and kind to others in that regard.
- If you are captured, try and ask to be taken to a facility that is not the main base of operations of a faction (e.g. The Sith Palace). Aim for a secondary location (e.g. The Sith Barracks in the Under City).
- Make sure you talk to the capturing parties about how long your capture will last.
- Check and see if a rescue is allowed from the location you're going to.
- Remember that you don't NEED to be captured. Capture is consent based and it shouldn't be something that happens all the time. Your character is always able to escape.
